Grandma's Re-wind
What a great turn out on a hot day. Jenna Rocked a 2:47 and cracked a huge smile as she came down the finisher's chute. Carrie Nicklin made her team debut at 3:36 to qualify for Boston. Laurie also made a team debut and ran 3:31 on such a hot day to put us in 2nd place overall in the team standings.
Kim Ran a strong half in 1:27 and the guys ran awesome, taking first overall in the team standings.
If the team Results are correct, we are still only behind by 2 points. We have 4 races to make this up. Good races. I will need to know soon who plans on running the 10 mile in Stillwater.
Keep it up ladies!!!!!!!!

Run on Saturday/Sunday?
Nice job yesterday to all who ran the Human Race! The sea of Yellow Jerseys was awesome and we showed all that we are just as competitive and will be a force this year. It was nice to meet all of the new members too! Rock on!
A few of us were talking about doing a long run this weekend around the lakes. If you are interested let me know length, time, etc that you had in mind and we will see if we can work something out for all who can go.
The results are slow at this point, but based on times and placing.... Jenna rocked first in 27 minutes and Thea hit a good third, with Kelly, Shannon, Abbey, Kim and the rest not far behind. I am almost confident that we took first place, giving us the lead after the first race, but will wait till I see it in black and white. RNF had four girls before our four, but time comes into play which gives us the edge. We'll see.........
