Off the Circuit Continued.....

The team has been busy!!!!! The last few weeks have been big for all. If I forget something, it is un-intentional, but feel so proud to be part of this team and wanted to mention everything I know....

Last weekend Abbey Ring traveled to Green Bay to Run the Marathon with her dad. Despite being under the weather, she ran a PR of 3:23:49 alongside her dad! Way to go Abbey!!!!

This past weekend had the team all over the Board. Closer to home was the Northern Lakes 10 miler was won by Kim Anderson in 1:04.

Farther away, Jenna took the half marathon open womens title in 1:17 to give another strong showing. Paula Vicker also showed that she has no signs of slowing down with another sub 3 hour and top 3 finish, including Masters win.

Kate Horton also ran the half marathon to get her qualifying time for New York next year in 1:34. Way to go Kate!!!!!!

TC 1 mile results.

The TC 1 Mile results are in. We finished 3rd overall as a team and are holding onto our 2nd place in the standings by 2 points.

Brian Kraft is next on May 31 at Lake Nokomis. Kelly is out until Mid June, so we need to make sure we have a team. At this point I am aware of the following:

We need 5 to score. Also, is anyone running the Marathon? Please let me know on both.

Off the Circuit

To keep everyone up to date on what our ladies have been doing off the circuit.....

Jenna does it again. Qualifying for the 2012 Olympic Marathon trials with the "B" standard at Houston in 2:42.

After taking the Human Race 8K this spring and finishing a strong 3rd at Get in Gear in just under 35 minutes she will try for the "A" standard in Chicago this fall. Way to go Jenna!!!!!

Thea took the Trail Mix again the week before running Get in Gear in a hot 1:46 over the 25K corse which is fun, but challenging at that pace. Running down the ski hill a few times and some steep climbs with loops that go up and down. Congrats on another great race Thea!

Get in Gear Results

The results for Get in Gear are in. Overall it was a great day for the TCRC ladies with some PR's and new faces running better than they expected.

We finished 2nd by a narrow margin and are now right behind RNF in the standings. Lets keep it up and take the 1 mile....
